Our Classes
The classes and environment at Woodinville Family Preschool are planned to include six major categories of experience for the children:
- Sensory Experiences – encouraging children to see, hear, taste, touch and smell
- Concrete Experiences – experiences planned with real objects brought into the classroom
- Opportunities for Discovery Learning – sharpen deep mental skills through exploration, manipulation and discovery
- Opportunities for Divergent Thinking – exploring many different solutions to a given problem
- Emergent Literacy Experiences and Mathematical Language and Concepts – encouraging literacy through rich oral language experience and subtle integration of mathematical concepts
- Opportunities for Sharing the Expertise of Parents – learning through the experience and skills of fellow parents
Classes run from September to June.
Families may join at any time on a space-available basis.
Your child must be the age of the class before September 1st.
