End of year reminders
I just want to start out by giving everyone a huge thank you for making this such a great year at WFP! Families, students, staff, and everyone else that had a hand in everything we’ve done this year, thank you so much for your continued support. We wouldn’t be WFP without you all <3

Yearbooks: Last day for yearbook orders is May 5th (check Susan’s weekly update for more info).
Pre-K graduates: Congrats and good luck to our graduating families! We wish you all the best and will miss seeing you in class.
Mcmenamins pool – 18607 Bothell Way NE
Need to take a break from the summer heat? Come and visit the Mcmenamins Anderson School Pool. Free for Bothell residents, and only a few dollars for non-Bothell residents, an hour of open swim time can be a quick, easy and fun outing for the whole family.
Farmers markets
Woodinville Farmers Market – Every Saturday 10am-3pm from May to September
Located on Festival Street next to the Woodinville Sport Field
Are you in the mood for some fresh produce, boutique baked goods, artisanal sauces, cider, and other delightful treats? Look no further than the Woodinville Farmers Market! Since 1993, the Woodinville Farmers Market has been serving up more than just groceries. It’s grown into a vibrant community hub, complete with entertainment, educational demos, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow foodies. It’s now a vibrant festival that brings the Woodinville community and visitors from near and far together for entertainment, music, and educational demonstrations.
Snohomish Farmers Market – Every Thursday 3-7pm from May to September
Enjoy local vendors from around Snohomish County for the 32nd annual farmers market season. There’s food, music, art, and much more at this fun neighborhood market.
Zoos
Woodland Park Zoo – 5500 Phinney Ave N, Seattle 98103
Spanning 92 acres, Woodland Park Zoo is fun for the whole family. Animal encounters, educational talks with Animal Keepers, a ride around the historic carousel will ensure your day at the zoo is busy and fun! Below are a few special experiences at each exhibit that you don’t get to see at all hours of the day.
Snack time for the penguins: 11:00am – 2:00pm daily
Tiger training demonstration: 11:30am on Fridays/Saturdays
Orangutan Training demonstration: 1:30pm on Wednesdays
Look Listen Feel Storytime: 10:30am on Wednesdays in the Living NW Trail Exhibit.
Cougar Mountain Zoo – 19525 SE 54th Street Issaquah 98027
This 11-acre zoo makes for a nice smaller form outing than the large Woodland Park Zoo. Mostly hosting big cats, birds, and other large mammals, Cougar Mountain Zoo has been focusing on the care and education of endangered species since 1972. Get up close and learn about each beautiful animal with regularly scheduled keeper talks.

Childrens museums

KidsQuest Children’s Museum is a hands-on, interactive children’s museum that encourages learning through play with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, art and math. On the main level they have a water exploration room, so be sure to pack those tuffo suits and rain boots! Upstairs is arts and crafts, building, and a cozy tree top reading loft, and much more.

Pacific Science Center – 200 2nd Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109
There’s fun for everyone at the PSC in Seattle. Tide pools, space exploration, a walk through a butterfly garden, and a close up look at some of history’s oldest creatures will keep you and your kiddos entertained and engaged throughout your whole visit. Check their website for all the current exhibits and hours of operation.
